September 30, 2003--Brand new look, stories, poems, and links!

Greetings and welcome to the Cosmic Masqurade, my own personal site devoted to bad puns, shameless and flagrant self-promotion, and the devout following of whatever I'm obsessed with at the moment. Inside you will find scores of poems, short stories, essays, and what barely passes for art. Look around, explore, and if you get lost don't worry--you're in good company here at the Masquerade!.

But first allow me to quickly introduce myself. I am known as the Cosmic Jester, Jester for short, and I shall be your guide through this little knot on the glowing electronic doily that is the internet. The reason for my odd name is because of my frequent fits of overly-genkiness. In other words, I go bouncing off the walls with unhealthy amounts of energy, enthousiasm, and giggles.

To borrow a line idea from my friend Emby Quinn's site, I'd like to inform everyone that my website follows the KiSS principle: Keep it Simple, Stupid. Even in this age of cable and DSL alot of people still have dial-up and it takes them forever and a day to load pages with alot of images or to run fancy Java and flash toys. So yes I *can* have as many Java effects as anyone else; but I won't. Heck, all this is done using Windows Notepad, not a webpage-making software package.

And yes, I love red and purple.







No matter how crappy my stuff is it's still *my* stuff. Anyone found claiming my work as their own will be reported to the Proper Authorities and if necisary punished to the fullest extent of the law. It's not nice to steal other people's things. Didn't we all learn that in grammar school..? I do not own "A Ninja in 20XX", Chobits, Dragonball/Dragonball Z, Guyver, Harry Potter, Inu Yasha, Kyuuketsuki Hime Miyu, Mononoke Hime, Ranma Nibunoichi, Sinfest, X/1999, Pokémon, or any other well-known series whose names and/or images are found on this site. I use these names, characters, and images without permission and without profit as fanart, fanfiction, parodies, and 100x100 avatars. Please don't sue me--I'm just a fangirl.
